What's the point?

I placed my order online ahead of time ( for a change) and filled out the date and time I wanted to pick up mt bagged goods. I wanted to stop by on my lunch break and knock off one more thing on the spring list of todo's.
Turns out that it doesn't make a bit of difference to go through this process.
I waited in line at my arrival time and date with all of the other day of buyers.
Then I waited for the warehouse staff ( a great group there) to pull my order and load the truck. 30 minutes later I barely made it back to work on time.
