Nut coal is a mid-sized anthracite coal, larger than rice coal but smaller than stove coal, making it a good fit for hand-fed stoves and furnaces that call for a medium coal size. Its size sits in the sweet spot between the fine, auger-friendly grade used in automatic stokers and the larger chunks loaded into bigger furnaces and boilers, giving it a steady, even burn without the bulk of stove coal.
Like other anthracite grades, nut coal burns hotter, cleaner, and longer than wood, with less smoke and soot than bituminous coal. Because coal stove and furnace setups vary by manufacturer, we recommend checking your unit's manual for the coal size it's designed to burn before purchasing.

The final price of products sold by the ton will be calculated once the product has been weighed for the customer.
