To prevent a rash from developing after exposure:

1. Wet skin with cool water
2. Gently exfoliate the affected area with the coarse side (top) of the soap bar
3. Using the smooth side (bottom) of the bar, create a thick lather and rub into skin
4. Leave lather on skin for at least 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly but gently

Those with sensitive or dry skin should skip step 2.

To soothe a rash that has already developed: Work up a lather a second time and allow soap to dry on the skin for lasting relief. Use 3 times daily or as needed until the rash subsides.
