My name is Cassie Nilsson, and I am the Product Manager for our Pet and Wild Bird Departments, among other things. I am primarily responsible for managing product inventory, selection, and ordering for both departments. I was born and raised in Harford County, and grew up showing in 4-H and being involved in agriculture. This drove me to pursue a Bachelor's of Animal Science at Texas A&M, followed by a Master's of Science in Monogastric Nutrition at Iowa State University. I ended up in my current role due to my passion for pets, dogs in particular, and my enjoyment of helping people find happiness from their backyard ecosystems. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors and spend a lot of time trail running and gardening, both of which also help facilitate some excellent bird watching. I also enjoy spending time with my family, and have a variety of indoor hobbies, including quilting and reading.
