Join the University of Maryland Extension at The Mill of Salisbury on Saturday, January 17, 2026, for a Backyard Farming educational event focused on small ruminants and backyard poultry.

Throughout the day, attendees can take part in in-person presentations and demonstrations covering backyard poultry and small ruminant topics. Sessions will be offered at various times, with a full schedule announced closer to the event date.

Please note: Presentations will be held upstairs, which is accessible by a flight of stairs.

This event is a great opportunity for backyard farmers, hobbyists, and those interested in small-scale livestock to learn from Extension experts in a local, hands-on setting.
