With the ability to be mixed into feed or soaked, the feed is great for horses who struggle chewing and swallowing forages. Alfalfa pellets contain a high level calcium that acts as a stomach buffer for digestive upset. It contains up to 14% crude protein, 30% crude fiber, and 12% moisture.
