Anthracite Nut (Chestnut) Coal is The Mill’s mid-sized anthracite coal, well-suited for hand-fired applications and consistent, efficient heating. Its uniform size and high carbon content deliver steady heat, long burn times, and clean performance for residential and industrial use.

Lehigh Anthracite coal is mined, processed, and tested daily on-site to ensure accurate sizing and consistent quality. Its ultra-low volatile content, low ash, and low sulfur levels create a high fixed carbon coal that burns long and hot with no smoke and minimal emissions.

• Ultra low volatile matter: 3.5 – 4.5%

• High fixed carbon: 83 – 90%

• Ash content: 7.5 – 12%

Delivery Timing and Fees

Pallet delivery timing varies by season. Delivery fees depend on quantity and distance.

• $70.00 for the first pallet

• $75.00 for two pallets

• $90.00 for three or more pallets

• Less than full pallets or hand unloading: $11.00 delivery fee plus $2.00 per bag to stack

• Drop must be within 40 feet of the vehicle and no stairs

Deliveries beyond a 50-mile radius may incur additional charges for low-volume orders. The Mill delivers throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and Maryland and does not freight ship large items outside local delivery areas.
