O'Malley pellets are manufactured using pure hardwood fiber generated from sawmill operations. No chemical additives or binders are added during production.

The wood fiber is kept from ground contact during the manufacturing process, helping prevent dirt, rocks, and other unwanted debris from entering the raw material.

Heat & Ash Performance

With approximately 8,000–8,400 BTU per pound, O'Malley Premium Hardwood Pellets provide strong heat output for home heating.

Ash content is less than 1%, helping limit the amount of ash left behind during burning and making routine stove cleanup more manageable.

Mixed feelings

I have been using these for years. Seems to have been a downturn since the factory fire. This year I had one ton that seemed too wet or mixed with something they shouldn't be. The ash turned into clinkers like I have never experienced in the 11 years of owning this stove. Later tons not as bad and switched to another brand without the issue continuing. Seems maybe QA/QC is a bit behind.
