Join us for Dinner, Giveaways & Presentations by Bird Experts

 

Maren Gimpel, Ecologist, from the Foreman’s Branch Bird Observatory at Washington College in Queen Anne’s County, will share information about birds, migrations, and how to encourage native bird populations.

The Phoenix Wildlife Center will provide information about rehabilitation of wildlife.

Back by popular demand is Dan Vitilio, "the bird man" who will bring his Harris Hawk and a new aquisition, a beautiful North American Siberian Albino Goshawk!

 

From 4:30 - 5:30 - Prior to the dinner and program, if the weather permits, Debbie Bowers, Harford Bird Club educator, will be available to lead a bird watching walk on the grounds of Deer Creek Overlook. This guided tour will provide bird enthusiasts an opportunity to learn about identifying native birds.

    • Bring a pair of binoculars, the Harford Bird Club has limited numbers to borrow.  
    • Donations to Harford Bird Club are welcomed.
    • Interested participants should meet at the pavillion near the bridge at 4:30 pm.

Tickets are $15 per person. Seating is limited to 150. Doors open at 5:30 with the program starting at 6 pm.
