Thumper is the official tester of all things small pet. Stop by and see him at The Mill of Whiteford.
We proudly carry the following brands and have access to many more!
Dutch Rabbits are relatively small and well-rounded rabbits. However, they are not considered dwarf rabbits, as they typically weight between 3.5 to 5.5 lbs. They have a distinct color pattern, with a white blaze, neck, saddle, belly, feet, and color everywhere else. The colors typically seen in this rabbit are tortoise, steel, lilac, gray, chocolate, black, chinchilla, and blue. The Dutch Rabbit is considered one of the oldest rabbit breeds in the world, originating in Europe sometime in the late 1800s or early 1900s. These little rabbits make excellent family pets and are great for first time rabbit owners,
as they are generally friendly, enjoy attention and activity, and are quite hardy. They are not high maintenance but do require regular grooming as they shed. These are also fairly active rabbits and similar to most small pets, need time outside of their hutches to get exercise and mental stimulation. If you’d like to meet one in person, stop by our Whiteford location to meet the store rabbit, Thumper!
