The Mill Double Coverage grass seed blend is built to provide a deep green, full lawn. Also known as the "Summer Stress blend", Double Coverage provides a durable and attractive seed mix for your lawn. It best serves lawns in full sun or partial shade. This blend contains a 90% tall fescue grass seed, providing extra resilience for high-traffic areas and drought tolerance. It also contains 10% Kentucky Bluegrass grass seed, for a knitting effect and elegant appearance. Kentucky Bluegrass is a grass seed with rhizomes that help it creep and fill in the holes to make a dense and full lawn. With added Kentucky Bluegrass, the seeding rate is decreased by 20%.

Recommendations:
The Mill recommends testing soil before applying grass seed or fertilizer. A soil test analyzes available nutrients. Having this information allows us to help you make the best decisions for your lawn, leading to a more beautiful and thicker lawn. The Mill offers soil testing.*
New Lawns: 8 lb per 1000 sq ft
Over-seeding: 4lb per 1000 sq ft
*When seeding or over-seeding, add Starter Fertilizer 18-24-12 to give your lawn an extra boost. Please note: Grass seed and a pre-emergent (like Prodiamine) cannot be spread at the same time.
I wont be planning on seeding until the weather gets a little cooler so at this time cant give a review. But if it is like the contractors seed that I use first to get coverage I am sure it will be just as good. Your seed out preforms Scotts and Pennington and the satisfaction of geting seed not fillers makes it the best value.
