The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture passed legislation in July 2023 for the regulation of turf fertilizer application in PA. At this time, there is not a requirement to have a license or receive CE credits for certification, however, professional turf applicators are expected to know and follow the regulations for nutrient management.
